Hey there, just wondering what kind of ride cymbal that is? I see that it’s a zildjian avedis, but some specific specs would be nice

that’s zildjian a custom ride.
all a custom cymbals are finished with brilliant finish,
which makes more brighter tone than k series..

I am wondering what kind of metronome you are using, I have a really basic one now from korg, but I’m looking for a nicer one. We have in-ear monitors, so I can just plug it into my mix.

Hi Jay and Caleb.
I’m pretty sure we just used a 19″ or 20″ A-Custom crash that day as ride. It was just to have a surface to play on, as you can tell. For info on gear on all the albums etc, check out the new post under the drums link.
Also - as far as metronome goes, the last couple of years I’ve used the Yamaha CLST-100 ClickStation. Works for me. There are many metronomes out there, but this one has a few features that I really like. Especially that I can increase the bpm one or two clicks without it starting a “new-1″ so that the beat skips when I do it. It just does it smooth. Also - I can type in the new tempo on the spot, which is very quick - especially if the song list changes during our service. I guess the next step would be to get a sampler or drum machine to program some loops etc. Anyway - blessings. Rolf

the cymbals that you used for the live album “mighty to save” were amazing.
