Hey! what happened to the videos that you guys had on about a month or 2 ago that had Nigel showing the guitar parts for the song you hold me now from the new album. It was a great video!

I have a question about the DVD. When I go to “select an instrument” and click on “guitar”. Then i pick the Album version of “Run”, half way through the song the video switches to nigel playing something totally different. It seems like the video is slower. Is this a glitch on the DVD? Other than that, I have to say this is one of the most helpful tools I have ever seen for worship! Please release more!!

rayfox and filipe.. see Nath’s post above, there is a short clip with Nige running through his gear.
Though you’ll notice these workshops are looking at stripping back songs and gear, and exploring how to make songs work in various settings.
There are some great discussions on this site about gear.. with plenty more to come.
nathaniel…the same thing i noticed…i suggest the hillsong united released the same thing….

Thanks Ben,
I received it after a few weeks so no problem!
The DVD is very good and pitched just right for our creative department/church
One question i have: Do all the drummers play every song on a Sunday to a click on their in ears? Does this get sent to the rest of the musicians or singers?

We are working on getting more and more songs up on the website.. even some of the older ones.
Do you guys recommend this for people that just like hillsong and want to know how to play their music, or is the target audience for worship leaders? thanks

also, I am teaching a class at Golden Gate Seminary near SF, CA, in the US on Guitar from The Worship Leaders Perspective. This DVD sounds amazing but are there any other resources I could use for the class. This class is a hands on and will have some discussion, but will mostly focus on playing the guitar. I will pretty much will be teaching the worship leaders and guitar players in the area of San Fransisco how to play Hillsong/ Droff style of guitar. Any suggestion? thanx

Gday I was trying to purchase this DVD but i think the link has expired
I like this DVD but I have found it hard to apply in our team context because the menu system lets it down. It is very hard to navigate to a specific instrument passage for a specific song. I found that I had to use the “Play All” option and scan through the disc to get to the bits I want to show. It just takes too long so I have not been able to use it to help the team learn songs or increase their skill.
Maybe Creative 02 can improve on this? If so then it’s a definite WINNER.

question about volume of sound in main auditorium…? I am trying to find a good resource that explains the maximum volume of a worship setting. What is too loud? non-offensive frequencies? what damages the ear drum? thanks.
