Encounter- Only 2 Weeks Away!

Hey Fuel, there is a whole lot happening over the next few weeks which is real exciting and i want to encourage you to make sure you are at everything. First up this friday night, Wildlife, Powerhouse and Church is joining Fuel for an epic service in the CC starting at 6.30pm. Everyone is coming in their school uniform so make sure you wear yours and i guarantee we’ll have a great night! Hangtime starts at 4pm.
Secondly, Fuel on Friday Oct 9th is going to be one to remember, trust me! We’ve got a great night planned plus i’m going to be preaching and i know this Word that i have on my heart will really encourage you so come along and bring a friend or two.
Last but definately not least we have Encounter 09 only 2 weeks away!!! Encounter is all about us taking time out to really seek and encounter God, not going through the motions, or being religious, but fired up, expectant and radical about our relationship with Jesus. Over the next 2 weeks leading into Encounter we are encouraging everybody to really pray and fast, believing God to revolutionise our lives and youth ministry over Encounter 09. Make sure you check out the video blog from Chrishan talking more about prayer and fasting. Encounter is only $20 so if you can register online right now, or church this weekend or fuel next friday night but do whatever you can to be there, because something powerful is sure to take place.

Hey Fuel!
SOS has been a great term theme so far and we are really seeing more new people and decisions on Friday nights which is unreal! I feel as if we have all stepped up in praying and believing for our friends to be saved and i know our schools will never be the same. Big Exo Day is only 2 weeks away so make sure you get your tix asap. Big Exo is the largest Christian youth rally in our nation and a great opportunity to bring friends and with the big man Reggie Dabbs speaking im believing to see a few thousand decisions for Christ. Im so pumped for this Friday night at Fuel, i’m preaching the word and real expectant for God to rock up! Will be a fun night too, you don’t want to miss it. 7-9pm @ Hillsong Church (basement)… much love!

Jam United 2009

If you are in yr 7-12 @ HighSchool then you do not want to miss out on JAM this year! There are 2 ways you can be involved:
1) Jam Nights @ the State Sports Centre (Homebush) from 5.30-8pm tues 7th- fri-10th July for only $30 in total!
2) Full day JAM experience from 11.30am-8pm @ the State Sports Centre (Homebush) for only $59 in total!
We have the greatest line up of speakers, with Louie Giglio, Jentzen Franklin, Phil & Lucinda Dooley, Carl Lentz, Chrishan Jeyaratnam and Sanga! JAM will be one unforgettable week so do what whatever you can to be there… I Cant wait!

In It NOT Of It!

This friday night we are launching term 2 at Fuel- ‘In It Not Of It’.. We’re called to be in the world but not of the world, called to be in the crowd but not of the crowd, and this can seem almost impossible at times with our culture bombarding us with info and images everyday of how we should think, talk and live… The question must be asked, How do we live in the midst of a currupt culture without conforming to it? A question that we will dive into over the next few weeks and discover some profound answers that could very well empower you to live the life you’ve always dreamed of.. We’re gonna have a whole lot of fun too so you’d be crazy to miss out! 7-9pm every friday night for yrs 7-9 at High School! Cya there..

We’re all Fueled by something…

Hey Guys! I am so pumped for everything thats ahead in Church life! Colour conference and our Album recording next week is going to be insane! I cant wait!
People can be fueled by alot of things in life but the only thing that can truly satisfy the cravings and desires of our hearts is an authentic relationship with Jesus! God is sooooo good!
I really believe God is going to show up in a powerful way tonight at Fuel, so if you live in Sydney and your in yr7-9 at Highschool, dont miss it! Next friday night all the girls will be at colour and the boys are going ice skating (which will probably turn into ice wars.. 
Its going to be fun!
In 2 weeks time, april 3rd we have our city Fuel pastor Kane Keatinge preaching at Hills Fuel and its going to be an unforgetable night! Exciting times ahead!
