Red Frogs // City Update
Hey Powerhouse,
It’s that time of year again ; it’s December, Christmas is around the
corner, summer is here, the beach is shouting ‘holidays’, and the new
year is sooo close. I am looking forward to all that this season
holds…
This week at powerhouse we have Chrishan bringing the word… Chrishan,
the youth team and a few volunteers have been a part of hotel chaplaincy
at schoolies this last week and everyone was greatly impacted in being a
part of looking after school leavers. I know Chrishan will be bringing
something fresh and relevant for your life so come and hear what God is
saying to the 18-25 year olds of this city.
This Wednesday is also reserve night, I am sure we all know people that
would love to meet other young adults and are interested in knowing more
about God. Part of our mandate as Christians is to be bold in sharing our
belief in Christ with others and ‘passing on’ the good news of a life
lived with Jesus. I would like to put out the challenge for you to not
only come and be a part of Powerhouse but bring someone with you, I can
promise that most people are more ready to receive than we are sometimes
prepared to give it.

Hi there,
I’m Alison, 15 - from the United States. I’m very drawn to Hillsong for some reason. And, I frequently visit the websites and explore what is going on in your church. I just wanted to let you know that I am continuously praying for your church. God is doing mighty things through you pastors, speakers, and various workers in the church. Thank you for the work you do for God’s glory. I’m hoping to come to Australia as an exchange student in the next two years. Hopefully I will get the opportuninty to visit the youth group.
