Parents Holiday Update
Posted by raj | Filed under citywildlife

Well it’s been 5 months since we stepped into the leadership of Wildlife in the City. We are loving getting to know everyone and we are really believing to see great things in Wildlife over this summer season!
Summer Camp is only weeks away- it keeps getting better and better every year and we are praying this year will set each young person up to really make an impact in their schools and in their worlds!
Wildlife is also looking forward to welcoming our new year 9 students and excited for our year 12 students as they head into Powerhouse.
Love lots,
Katie and Dave Kobler

Midnight Praise
Posted by Hillsong | Filed under citywildlife, devotion
Acts 16:25 “About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, & the other prisoners were listening to them.”
How crazy! Paul & Silas had just been beaten and thrown in jail and at midnight (when people are either partying or sleeping) they decided to praise God. Looking at their circumstance they had nothing to praise God about, yet they made a decision, no matter what came their way, whether they were beaten, whipped, persecuted, or thrown in jail they chose to look to God and praise him.
I know sometimes I find myself looking around at my circumstance and feeling like it all feels to hard, but we need to make a decision to live a life of praise that isn’t swayed by situation or circumstance. I choose to live a life where I continually have my eyes fixed on Jesus.
Father God, thank you that we can put our trust in you. That when we look to you we find strength. Thank you that no matter what is thrown our way to take us out you have it all under control, even if it is midnight. Amen
