“When I walk into the house of God on a Friday night and I’m completely blown away by the amount of young people passionately worshiping and seeking Jesus, I can’t help but KNOW that the future of South Africa is in great hands.
We could look at the current state of our country and be negative, OR we can look at the future of it and trust that the best truly is yet to come! I see a revival breaking out into our city, I see young people making a stand, I see young people using their voice and talents to glorify God, I see a generation willing to lay down their lives for the Kingdom of God.
The problem is we think we have time. The end is too near for us to be living mediocre and average lives. There’s no more time for us to just wait around, He has set a race before us and we need to run it with everything we’ve got, not thinking about tomorrow – because it might never come.
It is of absolute importance that we remain focused on the future and what is to come, but we also need to stay the path NOW. What we do NOW will impact our tomorrow. Every step counts, we just need to keep moving forward!
I believe with everything in my heart that God has set a UNIQUE race for each and every one of us to run, each with different hurdles BUT, the one thing we have in common is the finish line , which is eternity with Jesus. We’re all just walking each other home. We’re ALL just a pencil in the hand of a writing God, who is sending a love letter out into the world.
At the end of this life we will not be judged on how many diplomas we have received, how much money we’ve made or how many good things we’ve done. We will be judged on ‘I was hungry and you gave me something to eat. I was naked and you clothed me. I was homeless and you took me in.’ -Mother Teresa
The future is calling and I am brave enough to answer!”
