Dear friends,

In the opening chapters of the final book in the Bible, we find a clear, precise and repeated directive – “he who has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches” – hence the language “Speak, we’re listening” that framed our latest Hillsong Conference gathering. If ever there was a time in history when we all need to fine-tune our hearing to the on-going heart and purposes of God, it is now.

Therefore the question presents – what exactly is the Spirit of God saying? What prevailing words are blowing through all churches that proclaim Christ’s Lordship and are seeking to exemplify His love? If the entire gospel message were to be pared down to but a handful of words, what would they be? Perhaps the final paragraphs within that same final book put it all in glorious perspective –

The Spirit and the bride say, “COME!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.
– Revelation 22:17 (niv)

Could everything that the Spirit of God is labouring to say, do and achieve in the Church today culminate in a simple bid to a lost and thirsting humanity? Should everything we give our lives to, echo the divine invitation to come? Come and see a Man who will not disappoint; come and see a God who proved true in my life and experience; come and enter into the grace and endless possibilities of a God who loves without measure.

So with these words echoing in our spirits, we present the 2016 Hillsong Conference invitation. Our hope is to fine-tune a stunning leadership conference that will unleash the miraculous and enable us all to work effectively in the harvest Jesus spoke of – a harvest that is intensifying in readiness.

As always, the world’s finest Bible teachers, kingdom-inspirers and creative-innovators will speak into the heart and soul of your God-given vision, and seek to serve Kingdom-cause within us all. As a conference, we exist to “champion the cause of local churches everywhere” and our three main streams (Lead, Create and Help) are designed to address the many layers of healthy church life. The Kidsong (kids) and Young & Free (youth) conferences will continue to inspire future generations to greatness.

Exciting days! What God has invested within you is important and we hope to see you and those you share life with, within the wonder of next year’s gathering. It will be amazing because the path we all walk as passionate followers of Christ, is shining brighter and brighter (Proverbs 4:18). The best is definitely yet to come.
