I have a few awesome memories of Conference this year — some ridiculously funny and others more inspiring, but the thing that impacted the most was the interview that our senior pastor Brian did with Mark Driscoll.

I was reminded of how wonderful the forgiveness of God is, and the grace to start afresh and to make amends. I was blown away at how awesome the interview was, how non-judgemental and compassionately Brian interviewed a man who is obviously on a long journey that he is willing to travel.

As Ps Brian said in the interview,

“Life is long, things happen, but we can move on! We don’t need to stay there.”

My other special moment was the closer on Friday night — communion was precious and the song “Closer Than You Know” was very impacting.
