Building Academic Partnerships

24 August 2015

At Hillsong College our passion is to raise, equip, empower and release generations of leaders into the global church.

Over the years our vocational program has focussed on developing young leaders with the practical skills they need to succeed in a wide range of local church ministries. Whilst teaching bible and theology, the emphasis in our very “hands-on” program has been on building the character, capacity and practical wisdom that sets dynamic leaders apart. We are deeply encouraged to see hundreds and thousands of our graduates serving powerfully and making a difference in churches all over the world. The proof of the pudding has been in the eating, you could say.

As we look to the future, as a College we have been stirred to engage with higher and theological education. We feel the challenge to produce graduates who are both ministry leaders and thought leaders. So, whilst continuing to build and hone a world-class vocational leadership program, we have been actively building strategic partnerships with Christian universities and seminaries. Our aim is to provide strong pathways for our graduates to enhance the gift of God on their life through excellent and relevant academic study.

To date we enjoy three key partnerships that allow Hillsong graduates to transfer credits and received advanced standing with three outstanding academic institutions:

Alphacrucis College, Sydney

Dallas Baptist University, Texas

Northwest University, Seattle, Washington

We are excited about what the future holds for those graduates who make the big step into further education, and eagerly expect to see the call and gift on their lives flourish.

Check out our website for more details about these pathways, and “watch this space” for more exciting developments in the future.
