I went into Colour Conference this year with such an expectation for all the Copenhagen girls travelling over together as part of our group. During the conference, I was thinking so much about each moment and each message and how it was going to impact each woman.

What was amazing was that during each message and moment in worship, I felt like God revealed something new to ME even though I had sat under that message just a few weeks earlier at the conference in Sydney.

It was just another reminder to me, that even though I had been in this environment before (this was my 19th year attending the Colour Conference), and even though I was amongst a group of 11,000 women from around Europe and the world, that God will speak to me personally, right into my circumstance and my situation. He knows what we need to hear, and He has something for each individual.

I am definitely just an ‘everyday girl’ and being at the conference spoke to the everyday girl in all of us. That we can actually make a difference in this world, that we are not alone in the fields in life that we find ourselves in, and that we are truly part of a global sisterhood.
