CHRISTMAS & CHILL
There might still be a lot to get done before Jesus’ birthday, but sometimes it’s ok to be in your pyjamas for day (or at least for 2 hours cuz…work and adult-ing is hard), watch a Christmas movie and drink some hot chocolate. Whether you’re with family, spending some QT with yourself, or hosting a get together with friends, we’ve picked out 5 Christmas Classics we thought you would enjoy for the first time – or for the billionth time. Tis’ the season!
NUMERO 5: WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING
Think of the most dramatic romantic scenario to happen during Christmas, and then throw that expectation out the window. This is the best movie to feel all the feels while staying a bit realistic at the same time.
NUMERO 4: FOUR CHRISTMASES
This movie is a reminder that family is a next level kind of love. You can’t live with them, and you can’t live without them. So pray that when you fall in love your significant other is ready for an adventure and you’re ready for theirs.
NUMERO 3: HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS
You are probably more like the Grinch than you think, but that’s not a bad thing.
Exhibit A
Exhibit B
Enjoyable for both the kids and the adults, it makes you laugh and potentially cry for all the right reasons. Everyone wins with a little bit of a Grinchmas!
NUMERO 2: THE HOLIDAY
A mix of thinking-that-you’re-in-love, a pinch of self-love, and throw in some fairytale-kind-of-love. There’s a reason its number two, and I’ll let you figure that out for yourselves. And let us never forget that SANTA ANA gets mentioned in this movie. To all our OC reps, we’ve made it ya’ll.
“The wind… it’s what makes it so warm this time of year. Legend has it, when the Santa Anas blow, anything can happen.” – Miles
THE CHAMPION OF THE LIST NUMERO 1: HOME ALONE 1 (AND 2)
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, don’t even Google it, just put it on and watch it. It reminds you that kids are way smarter than us (sometimes) and that adults don’t always have it together (shocking, I know). Bring out Grandpa, Mom, your best friends, your fish, your BAE and your favorite food. It’s a movie for everyone!
Hope this helps narrow down your choices with just a few days left until Christmas!
