CityCare’s transitional housing program, Homes of Peace, provides housing and case management support for women and children leaving domestic violence situations.

Currently, Homes of Peace provides six houses and one full-time social worker, and follow up support for families after they exit the program. Last year, 13 women and 12 children were successfully supported through Homes of Peace.

In 2018, Homes of Peace will continue to help those affected by domestic violence through providing vital services to assist families as they rebuild their lives and move towards sustainable independent living. We are also working towards the opening of two new homes, to provide assistance to more women and children.

Our Heart for the House offering is an annual, sacrificial offering to the Hillsong Foundation over and above our tithes and offerings. Offering Weekend is Friday 15th – Sunday 17th June 2018 (giving available until 30th June 2018).
