The last time Hillsong Kids released an album the first iPhone had just been released and Usain Bolt was beginning his career and setting world records in the Beijing Olympics.
But today is a new day and we are reaching kids today that weren’t even born when that album ‘Follow You’ hit the ears of the world. Our mandate hasn’t changed, we are still to “…tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and His might & the wonders He has done.” – Psalm 78:4
“Can You Believe It!? – Songs of Truth” is both a question and a challenge… a statement of gratitude to a loving God and an invitation to explore the very foundations of faith. We want to ask kids “Can you believe it? Can you say to a loving God, I trust You and Your word?” And also say “Can you believe it! This God full of amazing grace has given us His son and this life!”
We dove deep into the foundations of faith and wrote songs declaring what we believe. We pray that this collection of fun and vibrant songs will help children around the world declare biblical truths about God’s love and grace for them. That it would help children to dance, worship & direct them to lift their eyes to Jesus as they sing songs of truth.
Each song relates strongly to areas of our faith:
1. The Bible
2. God
3. Separation and a Saviour
