100 Days of Ascent: Week Fifteen

The cost of praise

Psalm 134 is the last of the 15 Psalms of Ascent. The journey finishes in worship. Together, all of us praising God, and He responding by blessing us with His presence. But sometimes there are days when we don’t feel like praising God. It may be for different reasons, but sometimes praise is costly. It is a choice. Sometimes we need to choose to praise God simply for who He is; for His faithfulness, His goodness. Praise is what God deserves.

Praise changes our perspective; it takes our eyes off our circumstances and redirects our focus to God, who is faithful and able to work everything for good.

The same can be true in our creativity. Some days the inspiration might not be there, but we can choose to praise God with our creativity, give it to Him as worship, because He is worth it.

This week we gather for Worship & Creative Conference. Ready to encounter God. Give Him the praise He deserves. We are excited for everything that will happen as we gather in His presence.

Psalm 134

A song of ascent.

Praise the Lord, all you servants of the Lord who minister by night in the house of the Lord. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the Lord. May the Lord bless you from Zion, he who is the Maker of heaven and earth.
