Michael Buble’s Its Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmastook on a whole new  meaning at the Hills’ Chapel. Some 300 guests arrived in an array of Christmas themed colours. Kids and youths were handsomely dressed in their performance costumes & traditional outfits, while the older folks were equally dashing in their attire too, befitting of the Multicultural Christmas Night. The buffet spread was again glorious & sumptuous, comprising a mixed blend of east & west, typifying the backgrounds of those in attendance. Multiculutral Pastor Kim Brinsden kicked the night off with a singing performance by 25 kids, accompanied by the angklung (an instrument made from bamboo tubes) from the Indonesian community, followed by a Christmas medley from a connect group in Cherrybrook, with the violin, ukulele, flute, trumpet and clarinet in tow. Boys & girls from the Chinese church then sang a couple of Christmas carols in Mandarin. Guests were also treated to a viola and dance item from the Sri Lankan community. The night’s finale was the Indonesian group’s magically choreographed music, singing, dance & play depicting the true meaning and spirit of Christmas. How great is our God who brings us all together, from all over the world, to Hillsong Church to be His hands, His feet & His body to proclaim the Good News! Thank you Jesus for reminding all humanity on what Christmas is all about and may we never lose sight of it.
