Year twenty-three, day one, Conference one of eight across the globe. Kicking off an extraordinary marathon of gatherings, Colour Conference Sydney roared to life on Thursday night at the ICC theatre. Rivers of mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, wives, grandmothers converged as hosts of volunteers greeted each one with warm smiles, willing hearts and appropriately emblazoned crew tees declaring their job description: SERVING AND ALL THAT STUFF while reminding us of the marathon on the back.

All that stuff includes whatever, whenever and however Bobbie and the Hillsong Team can make this conference – and indeed, every Colour Conference – an unforgettable, life-changing, heart-warming experience for every woman in the presence of God.

Inside the auditorium, amidst a flurry of waves, embraces, laughter and conversation, the girls find their seats and their friends. For many, this is an annual meeting place to reconnect, worship, be inspired and encouraged together. Miracle babies believed for at past conferences, are now attending as delegates – a generational yard-line.

The evening started with one of our own acknowledging the land of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, the traditional custodians of the land.

Then, COLOUR Conference began! The stage was retro, edgy, feminine and vibey – in true Bobbie style. Colour themes were vibrant, primal and earthy. The opener was something else… Without giving anything away, think somewhere between a secret garden and a space ship!

Do you remember the day the lights went on, the moment you awakened and felt the weight soften and lift; the mystery and questions fading as truth drew near?Bobbie asked the room as she laid a foundation for the next two days and nights, with guest speakers Erwin McManus and Christine Caine. As the heavens opened inside (and out!),Bobbie delivered a compelling reminder of the greatness of our salvation, prophetically declaring a NEW THING upon the women of God.

Sydney will pass the baton to Los Angeles, New York City, Cape Town and London with the finish-line in Kiev. The invitation continues as REVIVAL IS IN THE AIR.
