The twenty-fourth Colour Conference has touched down in Sydney, and this new decade begins as a year of firsts.

Converging at First State Theatre at ICC, the first of two Conferences in Sydney, both have been at capacity for months – so for the first time ever, the beauty and wonder of COLOUR live from Sydney will also be available as an “Online Conference Experience” direct to your lounge room or device.

It’s the first time guest speakers Leanne Matthesius and Ann Voskamp have featured, and the first time many women from all across the country will ‘experience the room’.

Rain didn’t dampen spirits as thousands of delegates bustled in steady streams of colourful umbrellas into the venue. Anticipation was everywhere as staff and volunteers’ welcoming smiles made you feel right at home. It’s details such as these that make the Colour experience an event that never fails to deliver on fun, life, creativity and profoundly divine encounters.

Annie and Dani kept our online delegates entertained with behind the scene interviews and spontaneous fun. As the global room tuned, in the chatroom buzzed with sign-in greetings.

After an unforgettable opener, Brooke Ligertwood, David Ware and team had the entire theatre on their feet in heartfelt and passionate praise and worship. Several spontaneous moments of a capella singing from the crowd were breathtaking. Ben Hastings prophesied singing, “Come alive, come alive dry bones. Awake, arise, inhale the light!” The platform appeared like a heavenly portal, an entry into the throne room of God… The Holy Spirit is already here, Dave Ware affirmed.

Bobbie Houston ‘set the table’ with an invitation to be found in the irresistible nature of God and for the fragrance of the Holy Spirit to fill the hearts of all within the sound of her voice.

Colour Conference is about light and shade, laughter and weeping, moments of levity and gravity; inspiring women around the world to rise up and champion womanhood in all its magnificence. The evening closed with communion and worship as the words of Jesus fragranced the air –
