WHAT DOES YOUR PRACTICE TIME LOOK LIKE?

The first 10-15 mins I’m usually warming up doing various scales or string skipping exercises and then I’ll be working on different songs/parts I want to learn.

IF YOU COULD ONLY HAVE 4 GUITAR PEDALS ON YOUR BOARD, WHAT WOULD YOU USE?

A TUNER! Most important pedal on a board followed by an overdrive, (not distortion or fuzz), volume pedal & a delay pedal with a tap-tempo function.

DO YOU HAVE A MUSICAL ROLE MODEL/MENTOR, AND WHAT IS THE BEST ADVICE/FEEDBACK THEY’VE EVER GIVEN YOU?

Ray Badham was my musical model and mentor who taught me how not to overplay, not filling every gap with a lick and to work with the other guitarists and musicians.

WHAT IS THE MOST MEMORABLE PROJECT YOU HAVE WORKED ON AND WHY?

Every project has its own and unique impact on me but if I had to list one it’d be the first album I ever played on which was ‘Mighty To Save’.

WHERE AND WHEN DID YOU START SERVING IN WORSHIP TEAMS?

I started serving in my local worship team in Hervey Bay in QLD playing percussion when I was 9. I had some Bongos (not congas) a tambourine and some wood sticks! All I wanted to do was play the drums but that’s what they needed for a couple of years.
