Fighting for unity
The Bible talks a lot about unity. Maybe because we need to be reminded again and again since it doesn’t always come natural to us. What if together we would do our best to champion each other, lay differences aside and remember what we have in common, what really matters.
Unity is worth fighting for. Psalm 133 talks about the blessing from God that follows unity. It is something we need to be intentional with. To put unity above our own ambitions.
A song of ascents. Of David.
How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.
