Well here we are just days away from WCC, and my heart is being stirred for what God has purposed in these moments we have set apart to seek Him. Let me ask you a question. Are you curious about the future? I am.

I know God is always working and up to something grand. But as I mature in my devotional walk with Christ, I have discovered that I’m less curious about what He is doing and more hungry to just know more of who He is, simply & truly. There is nothing like contemplating the glory of the Lord, dwelling within the sweetness of His presence and seeking His mighty power.

When I think about WCC, I think about God-worshippers who rally together to see heaven break open over us all… because if we can just catch a glimpse of who He is, it’s forming us into who we should be as Christ-followers & the Church. I want so much less of the world and so much more of Him & His heart.

So my spirit is ready for us to encounter His loving presence, His healing presence. I’m ready for the songs. I am ready for the fellowship. I’m ready for the wisdom & insight from others who lead the way. I’m ready for the earnest prayers of His people. But most of all, I’m simply ready for Jesus.
