Hillsong College is pleased to offer you the opportunity to study on campus a masters degree program. Students will have the opportunity to study towards a Master of Arts (MA) or a Master of Theology (Mth).

Master of Arts

The Master of Arts is a general postgraduate-level degree that allows you the opportunity to specialise in areas such as Christian Studies, Cross-Cultural Ministry, and Pastoral Ministry.

 Academic Entry Requirements

Completion of a AQF Level 7 bachelors degree or completion of a AQF Level 8 or above postgraduate qualification (a completed postgraduate certificate with a credit average overall).

Master of Theology

The Master of Theology is designed for students who already have an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in theology or ministry and who are looking to grow their skills and knowledge through advanced research in areas like theology, biblical studies, or christian history. It is the ideal postgraduate degree for those seeking to do doctoral studies.

Completion of a ministry or theology undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or equivalent.

How long does it take to obtain a masters degree?
Each masters degree can be completed in just 3 semesters (1.5 years) of full-time study. Part-Time options are available for Australian students.

How much does it cost?
In 2017, the MA and Mth are $2,200 per subject (international) that works out to $8,800 per semester and $1,995 per subject ($7,980 per semester) for domestic students.

Are masters degrees offered at both Hills and City campuses?
Yes. The Master’s courses are offered at both the Hills and City campus.
