WHEN DOES COLLEGE ACCOMMODATION OPEN?
Our College Accommodation move in dates vary but are generally 1-2 weeks before enrolment day. The Accommodation application form which will be sent out to you by our Admissions team will have the exact opening date for the semester.

We do not allow early arrivals into College Accommodation before opening date so it is important to make sure your flight is booked after this date. If you do arrive before the opening date you will have to find your own alternative accommodation until College Accommodation opens.

HOW CAN I APPLY FOR COLLEGE HOUSING?

They will inform you with critical information and send you a Hillsong College Housing Application directly to your email. WHEN SHOULD I APPLY FOR COLLEGE ACCOMMODATION?
College leases properties through local real estate agents and accommodation is therefore always subject to availability. We nevertheless try to accommodate every applicant and strongly recommend you apply as early as possible in order to secure yourself a spot. For personal belongings and valuables, we strongly recommend students to acquire a renters insurance policy to cover replacement or reimbursement in the case of loss.Application and administrative fees will be required and are outlined in the Fee Schedule which can be viewed here.

DO YOU ACCOMODATE MARRIED COUPLES AND FAMILIES?
Housing for couples and families with children may be an option based on availability. If you’re interested in these housing options, please email [email protected] with a brief description of your family’s needs.

Accomodation Procedures and Code of Conduct

INSPECTION OF PREMISES
It is the responsibility of the students living in the property to ensure that the interior and exterior of the property is kept in a neat and tidy condition. If there are issues identified then students are to contact the College accommodation team who will refer the matter to the realtor.

College will carry out inspections throughout the semester to ensure the property is maintained to an acceptable standard.

The Realtors will also carry out their own property inspections during the semester.

BEHAVIOUR AND CONDUCT OF STUDENTS IN COLLEGE ACCOMMODATION
College Accommodation is an extension of College. Therefore, if students are found to be living or acting in a manner which is not in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct and the guidelines contained in the Student Handbook they will be issued with a written warning and possibly suspension. Continuing behavioural issues may result in College taking further action so it is important to refer to the Student Handbook – Student Behaviour.

Non-payment of rent can also lead to students being suspended so it is important to make sure that rent and utilities are paid in a timely manner.

FAQ's

WHAT DO THE COLLEGE ACCOMMODATION PROPERTIES LOOK LIKE?
Unlike many American universities and colleges, Hillsong College USA does not currently offer any on-campus or dormitory-style housing. However, for those seeking College housing, our Accommodation Team in Phoenix can help you find a place to call home that’s within a short driving distance of the college campus. College works on behalf of the students as the lessee with local realtors and property managers to source accommodation for those who need it within the area. This helps create a smooth and simple transition into your new living situation.

WHAT IS IT LIKE TO LIVE IN COLLEGE HOUSING?
College sublets partially-furnished apartments to those who apply and are accepted by the Accommodation Team. As an example, an available unit may provide 4 individuals (females with females and males with males) the use of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a shared living room, kitchen, and dining area. Laundry will be available on-site and, if available, in the unit itself. Some properties may include additional amenities such as community BBQs, a fitness center, and a pool.

Within the shared spaces of College housing, you’ll get to know your fellow students better while growing, learning, and working together. Whether it’s travelling in the same car to class or sharing conversation over home-cooked dinners, the community you build throughout your studies will continue to be built at home.
