Jeremy lives in Iraq with his wife and two children since the middle of the Iraq War.
Jessica Courtney’s passion for the broken, forgotten people of the world compelled her to move her family to Iraq during the height of the Iraq War. After an encounter with a little girl in need of a lifesaving surgery, Jessica helped found Preemptive Love Coalition (PLC) to provide lifesaving surgery, emergency relief, and economic empowerment in Iraq, Syria, Libya, and other areas of polarizing conflict.
Today, Jessica oversees economic empowerment for people displaced by tyrants and terrorists as president of PLC’s Sisterhood Collective. Through long-term relationships with the people she serves, listening first to their pain, drawing out their hopes, and investing in their skills, she has created a space for women around the world to come together and celebrate their common sisterhood.
Jessica serves on PLC’s executive leadership team where she helps guide strategy and long-term vision. She has lived in Iraq, with her husband, Jeremy, and two children since the middle of the Iraq War.
