Can you believe it’s been just over a year since a global pandemic was declared? And yet much of the world is still wrestling with its impact in real and personal ways. Wherever you find yourself reading this today – at work, home or possibly on a walk through the neighbourhood – know that Bobbie and I, along with our Hillsong family, continue to believe God for breakthrough and an end to this virus.
We have made the decision to postpone Hillsong Conference 2021 in both Sydney and London until 2022. Though I am disappointed to not see you this year, we will just have to eagerly anticipate hearing from friends, guests, prolific leaders and Bible teachers as we look forward to gathering together again next year. We are in contact with our guests to confirm their availability for 2022 so stay tuned for some exciting announcements in the coming months. Oh how I miss the sound of worship thundering through stadiums and arenas. I long for the day when we can exalt the Name of JESUS together once again. I am hopeful that day is coming soon.
We love you, we believe in you, and we find ourselves praying that His presence and promises will overshadow and sustain you. Until we gather again, and until we find ourselves worshipping together and lifting His praises into the atmosphere — be blessed! The best is (surely) yet to come.
“Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.” (Ezekiel 37:9 NIV)
