À propos de Matthieu & Flor Legouis

Matthieu et Flor se sont dit « oui » en 2014. Leur aventure a commencé en Suisse, un pays qui, à l’époque, n’était qu’une étape… mais qui allait devenir bien plus.

Hillsong Genève a été leur maison pendant ces premières années, où ils étaient investis dans l’équipe d’accueil et de soutien pastoral.
Après 4 ans de mariage, portés par leur foi en Dieu, ils ont pris la décision de se former davantage. Pendant trois ans, ils ont étudié à Hillsong College en Australie, cheminant sur la voie pastorale. Là-bas, ils ont appris à servir, à grandir ensemble et à se laisser transformer par Dieu.
Après cette incroyable expérience, Dieu les a conduits à Paris. Ils ont continué leur formation à Hillsong Paris, la maison mère de la Francophonie, pour une troisième année riche en défis, en bénédictions et en moments marquants. Pendant encore deux ans, ils ont grandi dans leur foi et vu la fidélité de Dieu s’exprimer de mille façons.

Et puis, l’appel est venu. Pas celui qu’ils attendaient, mais celui qu’ils ne pouvaient pas ignorer: retourner en Suisse. Ce petit pays où leur vie de mariés avait commencé allait devenir bien plus qu’un souvenir : il allait devenir leur maison.
Aujourd’hui, Flor et Matthieu sont très reconnaissants, les plans de Dieu sont toujours plus grands et plus beaux qu’on ne l’imagine. Qui aurait cru que le pays où tout avait démarré serait celui où ils allaient s’enraciner et celui qui les passionnerait?

Matthieu, né en France, et Flor, née au Mexique, sont Franco-Mexicains par amour et Suisses par adoption. Une preuve vivante que les plans de Dieu sont parfaits, dans les moindres détails.

Matthieu and Flor said “I do” to each other in 2014. Their adventure began in Switzerland, a country that at the time was just a stopover… but would become so much more.

Hillsong Genève was their home during those early years, where they were invested in the welcome and pastoral support team.
After 4 years of marriage, driven by their faith in God, they decided to further their education. For three years, they studied at Hillsong College in Australia, following a pastoral path. There, they learned to serve, to grow together and to let themselves be transformed by God.
After this incredible experience, God led them to Paris. They continued their training at Hillsong Paris, the mother house of La Francophonie, for a third-year rich in challenges, blessings and highlights. For two more years, they grew in their faith and saw God’s faithfulness expressed in a thousand ways.

And then, the call came. Not the one they were expecting, but the one they couldn’t ignore: to return to Switzerland. This small country where their married life had begun was to become more than a memory: it was to become their home.
Flor and Matthieu are very grateful. God’s plans are always bigger and better than we can imagine. Who would have thought that the country where it all began would be the one where they would put down roots and the one they would be passionate about?

Matthieu, born in France, and Flor, born in Mexico, are Franco-Mexican by love and Swiss by adoption. Living proof that God’s plans are perfect, down to the smallest detail.
