Benについて

Ben is our Youth and Young Adults Pastor. He and his wife Bec have been a part of our Hillsong Hobart room for 7 years now. Ben is a passionate Tasmanian, loving everything outdoors and adventure. He loves camping, rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, and snowboarding. Ben and Bec have a one-year-old boy, named Orlando, who is already showing signs of being an avid adventurer too. Ben works part-time as an Outdoor Education teacher at a local Christian High school where he is outworking one of his dreams of introducing young people to the wonder and beauty of God’s creation.

His church role involves him overseeing our Friday night Youth program, Sunday Youth hangouts, and midweek school involvements. Hobart’s Youth ministry currently occupies the Youth Arena, containing an indoor skate park, basketball court, gaming wall plus several places to hang out and chat. This space has welcomed over 100 young people in its opening 5 weeks, fostering an atmosphere of community, faith, and friendship. Ben is honored to play a part in its operation and looks forward with great anticipation to see what God will do in the lives of young people through this space.
