About Pedro & Bruna
(English)
Pedro and Bruna have been the Campus Pastors in Marseille since 2021.
They are passionate about this city and the South of France, and they believe in a healthy and relevant Church where every man, woman, and child can find their place and grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Pedro became interested in theology at the age of 15, in the Presbyterian church where he grew up. He completed his education at a Jesuit boys’ high school in Cincinnati, Ohio (USA), and immigrated to France in 2010 to pursue his studies and receive his pastoral accreditation and ordination within Hillsong Church. He enjoys winter sports, music, and barbecuing. He once hoped to become a worship leader, but God revealed other gifts in him.
Bruna immigrated with her family to Casablanca, Morocco at the age of 14, and then to Cagnes-sur-Mer, on the French Riviera, where she completed her schooling. She went on to pursue higher education at the Sorbonne in Paris. Bruna enjoys reading, traveling, and baking.
In 2010, Pedro began his journey at Hillsong France—first playing bass and singing, then working as an accountant, and later co-leading the young adults ministry alongside Bruna.
From 2018 onward, Pedro and Bruna took on various pastoral roles: in youth ministry, in the international service in Paris, in suburban communities, and in planting two Hillsong campuses in France.
Both born in Brazil, Pedro and Bruna became French by choice and Marseillais by adoption. They now live in Marseille with their two sons.
