«О» (English) Philip & Nina Hyldgaard

(English) Philip and Nina Hyldgaard serve as the Lead Pastors of Hillsong Church Denmark, a life-giving church originally established in 2012. They stepped into leadership in January 2026, following Thomas & Kat Hansen, who planted and faithfully led the church for over a decade.

Phil and Nina are passionate and gifted leaders, as well as clear and engaging communicators, with a deep commitment to seeing people encounter Jesus and discover their God-given potential. Their heart is to build a healthy church that serves people well, strengthens families, and brings hope to the cities and communities they are part of.

Before leading Hillsong Denmark, Phil and Nina served for many years with A21, a global anti-human trafficking organisation, where they were involved in advocacy, leadership, and justice-focused initiatives. This season shaped their strong compassion for people, a desire to see lives restored, and a conviction that the Church can be a positive force for good in society.

They carry a deep love for Scandinavia and a passion for building and equipping the local Church for long-term impact. Together with their two children, Lexi Hope and Sylvester Cruz, Phil and Nina are loving life in Copenhagen and are committed to serving the cities and communities they call home, including both Copenhagen and Aarhus.
