CityCare | Copenhagen

Hillsong CityCare is the expression of the heart of our church in the local community, mobilizing volunteers to serve through our programs, services and projects to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of people living in our own backyard.

The heart behind everything we do, is to see lives of individuals changed so they can lead and impact in every sphere of life. Our mission is to see families strengthened; young people pursue their dreams and vulnerable groups connected into community.

Our key annual initiatives and our ongoing weekly services help us to impact lives beyond the walls of our church and stand as a beacon of hope in a world looking for answers. Simply because we care and because we can.

Our Easter Community Outreach is an initiative facilitated by CityCare to bless the homeless community in Copenhagen, Malmö and Aarhus. We do this because we believe we are blessed to be a blessing in our own backyard. You can make an impact by donating any of the items listed below. Our Easter project is one of CityCare’s key annual initiatives impacting lives beyond the walls of our church. We can’t do everything but we must do something. We will collect hygiene items and make care packs with 10 items. These items will be packaged in ziplock bags and handed out in our locations by street teams on Saturday April 7.

“The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped.” Proverbs 11:25 MSG

Donations received until April 1 at the CityCare stand in your location

As a church, we want to bless people in need in our backyard. Help us put together care packs by donating the following 10 items:

  • Toothbrushes (adult and individually packaged)
  • Toothpaste (adult)
  • Deodorants (unisex)
  • Facial wet wipes (small packs)
  • Chocolate bars
  • Socks (unisex)
  • Muesli bars
  • Mints (sugar free)
  • Band-aids
  • Travel sanitizers

Hillsong Kids will be collecting toothbrushes and toothpaste, please prioritize other items.

Please drop off individually packaged units.
For example, only individually packaged toothbrushes rather than a pack of two toothbrushes as it is more hygienic when redistributing.

We do not accept used or worn items.

Item drop off:

Please drop off all items at the Citycare stand in church (Copenhagen, Malmö and Aarhus) on any Sunday until April 1.

How to help:

You have to be minimum 15 years old to take part of the hand out to the homeless community.

Thank you for your generosity.
