How can we show love towards others?
Talk to your kids about how Jesus says that we have to love our neighbors, and that our neighbor is not just the people next door, but all the people around us, that we meet. Encourage your children to think about the story of the good samaritan and how he might have felt when the two first people didn’t help him, and how your children would feel if no one wanted to help them.

What would you think and do if you did something wrong?

Encourage your children to remember that they can always come to God with everything they have on their heart and He will love them still. Just like the father in the story of the lost son. God sees us make bad choices, and He get’s sad, but He is always waiting for us to come back to Him!

If you receive money, how can we then do good with that?
Talk about how Jesus says that if you can be trusted with a little bit and you do good with that, then you will receive more. Talk about how God loves it when we are good to others and how we can give money to people that maybe need it more. Encourage your children to understand that everything we have belongs to God, because we have received it as a gift from God and if we do good with it, we will be even more blessed.

What would make you happy, if people did it to you?
Talk with you kids about what they would like others to do to them. What are some things that make them happy. Talk about how it says in the bible that we should treat others as we ourselves want to be treated. Think about how God has forgiven us our sins and how He loves us and then think that we should forgive others and love others as He loves us, even if they do us wrong again and again.
Verses: Luke 6:31 + Colossians 3:13 + Luke 17:4
Where would you plant a beautiful plant?
Talk about how we should listen to God’s word and keep trusting in it’s truths. When we read the bible we shall receive it with joy and we should keep seeking the word of God even if we get into times of trouble or start to get worried. To bear fruit in the kingdom of God we should be planted in His word and know what He says.
