We focus on social inclusion and placing value on people in our backyard through our street teams.
We currently have the following street teams in Copenhagen.
The Refugee Fellowship
At the fellowship we eat and drink with refugees mainly from the Middle East. We do what we can to come alongside people from the fellowship and do life with them. We believe in relationships and creating a sense of family.
Time:
Bi-weekly, Fridays or Thursdays
at 17:00 – 20:00
Location:
Hvidovre, Copenhagen
The Nursing Home
We want to honour the generations on whose shoulders we are standing. Many elderly are lonely, so we place value on them through genuine friendships and fun activities to brighten up their Saturday morning. If we can, we bring a guitar to lighten up the mood.
Time:
Bi-weekly, Saturdays at
14:00 – 16:00
Location:
Østerbro, Copenhagen
The Homeless Relief
Although we have a fantastic welfare system in Denmark, there is no denying that there are many homeless in our backyard. We are here to show compassion and offer relief in the form of food and beverages, genuine conversation. We believe in long term relationships and are committed to keep showing up.
Time:
Bi-weekly, Saturdays at
12:00 – 14:00 (from May)
Location:
TBD, Copenhagen
Christmas Initiatives
Our mission is to see families strengthened and vulnerable groups connected into community. Christmas is our opportunity to reach and help vulnerable people with practical and social needs, and to connect them into a community that loves and believes in them – just like Jesus loves and believes in us.
