Day 13: Expect God’s Intervention — Constructive Thoughts

Apr 10 2020

You must serve only the Lord your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness. — Exodus 23:25

Wherever he went—in villages, cities, or the countryside—they brought the sick out to the marketplaces. They begged him to let the sick touch at least the fringe of his robe, and all who touched him were healed. — Mark 6:56

We may not fully understand why God appears to heal at some times and not at others, and that’s ok. However, may our lack of understanding never be a reason to stop us expecting God’s intervention and healing touch.

God’s character has not changed (Malachi 3:6), and we believe what His word says about Him. He is Jehovah Rapha (Our Healer). Have you stirred your faith to pray for God’s hand to be on someone who has contracted the virus?

Let’s also believe that God is capable to use this situation to draw people that are far from Him closer to Him. Many Churches on the World have started to broadcast their services online and work hard to publish content. Pray for people to “randomly” find this content that they may be touched by the Holy-Spirit this Easter Weekend.

Take some intentional time today to pray for a divine intervention to miraculously stop the virus in its tracks and proclaim Our God as Healer.

If you know someone with symptoms of the virus, why not call them to pray for them over the phone.

You can also invite your close relations or neighbours to watch our Easter service tomorrow by sending them a text with the link or by dropping a note in their letterbox.

Let’s believe for miracles together.
