John 15:9-17

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.

Round Table — Conversation Cards

Let's talk about love

On the occasion of Good Friday, we invite you to share a moment around the table to reflect and exchange on the theme of love. Here are a few questions to guide your discussions.

To make His love known.

* Pay a coffee forward
* Bake a cake (as a family) for a neighbour
* Get some groceries for an elderly neighbour
* Buy a meal for a student
* Give a meal to a homeless person
* Give easter eggs to your neighbours
* Drop a letter in your neighbours’ mailbox
* Paint † = <3 on your windows (gouache paint is easy to clean)

* Maw your neighbour’s lawn

The way to love.

The questions we ask about God are many: “Is God real?”; “Is what we know about Him really true?” and “What does He have to do with my life?

The Bible may not answer every question about God and will often lead us to question more. However, one area where the Bible is clear is in answering the question: who is Jesus?

C.S Lewis, a well known christian author, wrote about Jesus : “Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse…. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come up with any patronising nonsense about His being a great human teacher.”
