Already 2022!<\/p>\n

We parents see the years go by so quickly! Because our children are growing up and amaze us every day! During the years 2020 and 2021, several incredible blogs were written by inspired moms of our church to encourage us to stay the spiritual course and to give us tips to better communicate with our children.<\/p>\n

Yes, we want the best for our children! However, despite our good will, as the years go by, we relentlessly try to find answers to this question: How do we face life\u2019s challenges and continue to creatively pass on the love of Jesus to our children?<\/p>\n

At the start of 2022, I would like to share my MOTTO with you:<\/p>\n

DETERMINATION: \u00abAnd be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.\u00bb<\/p>\n

.KJV 12:2 Romans<\/p>\n

This pandemic has brought about many changes in the way we look at things, understand life\u2026 My prayer is that each family move on, with this determination: to see the will of God in action in the home.<\/p>\n

ENDURANCE: \u00abWherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.\u00bb Hebrews .KJV 2-12:1<\/p>\n

As parents we run a marathon with our children: we have to go the distance. Let’s keep our eyes on Jesus! He is our best guide and counselor to keep it through.<\/p>\n

VISION: \u00abAll scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.\u00bb 2 Timothy KJV 17-3:16<\/p>\n

The source of our vision for our life and for our home is in The Bible! In addition, our Hillsong Church has had a great vision for years: “Reaching out and influencing the world, building a great Bible-based, Christ-centered church, equipping people to have impact in all spheres of life. \u00bb Is our life inspired by a great vision for ourselves and our family? Let\u2019s take time, at the start of the year, to re-examine our vision and our choices.<\/p>\n

IMAGINATION: \u00aband saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.\u00bb Acts 13, 15-10:11was creative in the way he spoke to Peter. We too can be God. Let’s see what they like to do, what catches their attention. Let us stry is here pass on to them this unique love of Jesus! The “Kids” minito support you and provide them with strong spiritual teachings as well as to allow them to have Christian friends with whom they will grow and flourish.<\/p>\n

WISDOM: \u00abTrust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.\u00bb Proverbs ESV 3:5<\/p>\n

It’s good to remember that: \u00ab I don’t know much about life yet, but I’m not alone! \u00bb Making time with other families in the life of the church will be a great asset for the future. Wisdom is also: growing up around amazing people and \/ or interacting with families who serve in the church! Why not discover a Family Connect Group during this year 2022?<\/p>\n

WONDER: \u00abBut the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.\u00bb Galatians ESV 23-5:22<\/p>\n

Everything is said in this verse. Yes, I love to see my son marveling at the things around him. In this year 2022, I pray that we can learn again how to be amazed at the things that happen to us by allowing the Holy Spirit to have his way. May love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness gentleness and self-control guide us in the midst of life’s circumstances!<\/p>\n

In addition to these few words you can add your own definition and\/ or your verse which will become your MOTTO for 2022.<\/p>\n

Yes, these are just words, but let us try to put them into practice with the help of the Holy Spirit, and we will see them come true! Our choices, our vision are shaping our life on a daily basis. So, from now on, we can determine our future.<\/p>\n

Nothing is set in stone!<\/p>\n

Prayer by prayer!<\/p>\n

Step by step !<\/p>\n

We can see our mountains fall flat with Jesus as our guide. We can pass on to our children the principles of our walk with God, because in the midst of our imperfections, Jesus is there and he lives in us to help us!<\/p>\n
