JOURNEY TO THE CROSS

We want to set out together as a church on the way to the cross, to prepare ourselves inwardly for Easter, and to take the best message out into our neighbourhoods and cities to invite as many people as possible to our Easter celebration.

Beginning in chapter 9, verse 51, Luke describes all the events of Jesus’ life in terms of a journey to Jerusalem – which ultimately leads Him to the cross and to His resurrection. For Jesus, the goal of this journey is our salvation through his death and resurrection. In this Easter season, let us follow Jesus on this journey – his teaching and example – by seeking him and walking with him on this journey.
