Our Heart for the Mission offering is a once a year offering that is above and beyond our normal tithes and offerings.

We will give together on 30 November (giving closes on 31 December).

This year we’re giving 45% towards creating social impact in Tokyo, 40% for our future initiatives to advance the Kingdom in this beautiful city and 15% to support global church planting endeavours.

Social Impact

For the past few years, we have been partnering with Salvation Army Japan to support children in their children’s facility, Sekoryo. Last year, we gave 20% of our giving, of which JPY250,000 was used as Otoshidama – New Year’s cash gift to kids. We are going to do the same this year, blessing them with 20% of our offering. We have also been working with one of the children’s homes under Bott Memorial Home since 2023 and will continue to bless them in 2026.

Our Future

Since we re-started gathering in November 2021, we had been wandering around from a venue to a venue, until we finally settled in Shinjuku from October 2024, where we are still renting hourly with noise restrictions. The venue for our services and the kids room are becoming too small for us, and our creative teams are having difficult time looking for a place to practice. We’d love to move to a longer term contract in the future, and 40% of the giving will be our savings towards the miracle we believe will happen in the centre of Tokyo.

Global Church Plant

Last year, we were able to bless Hillsong Manila Connect. Jack & Julie Garcia and the team are planting a thriving church, helping lots of people in need and seeing so many people accepting Jesus and getting baptised. This year, we are planning to bless again, a church planting endeavour in Asia (10%) and the world (5%).

As we give together, we believe we will impact the city of Tokyo, our future, and the world. It may be a small impact at this moment, but we will not “despise these small beginnings” (Zech 4:10) and continue to declare that “together we can make a difference” by doing what we can.
