Our Heart for the Mission offering is a once a year offering that is above and beyond our normal tithes and offerings.

This year we’re giving locally in Tokyo, we’re giving 50% towards creating social impact in Tokyo, 40% for our future initiatives to advance the Kingdom in this beautiful city and 10% to support other location in Asia.

We will be partnering again with Salvation Army Japan to support children in their facility. Our plan is to give around 25% of which JPY250,000 (or more) will be used as Otoshidama – New Year’s cash gift to kids. We would also love to plan a project to practically bless one of our partners providing support to the vulnerable in the city of Tokyo, and the rest of the 25% will be saved for the project.

Since we have re-started gathering in November 2021, we had been wondering around from a venue to a venue, until we finally settled in Shinjuku from October 2024, where we are still renting hourly. We’d love to move to a longer term contract in the future, and 40% of the giving will be our savings towards the miracle we believe will happen in the centre of Tokyo.

Last year, we were able to bless Seoul Connect, a group of pioneers to plant a church in Seoul. This year, we are planning to bless again, a church planting endeavour in Asia that started after us.

As we give together, we believe we will impact the city of Tokyo, our future, and Asia. It may be a small impact at this moment, but we will not “despise these small beginnings” (Zech 4:10) and continue to declare that “together we can make a difference” by doing what we can.
