Get Ready For Colour: 5 Steps To Glowy Skin

8 April 2017

We are just one day away from our very first Colour Conference in Los Angeles! Which means outfit prep, lots of pinning (on Pinterest), and skin regime’s that ACTUALLY WORK!

Here’s five steps to glowy skin that will have you waking up tomorrow morning without having to tap snooze every ten minutes.

Step 1: As always, wash your face with a light cleanser in the morning. I love the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser for Normal to Oily Skin. You can find it at your local drugstore and comes in every variety for every skin type!

Step 2: Apply the Formula 10.0.6 “Get Your Glow On” skin-brightening peel mask. I ABSOLUTELY love this stuff! With papaya and citrus (grapefruit) extract, it’s almost as if you rubbed an orange slice all over your face. You can also find this at your local drug store/beauty supply, and it works wonders! For all my oily skin girls like me, don’t fret. This stuff leaves you glow-y, not greasy!

Step 3: Dark circles don’t stand a chance against the ROC retinol eye cream. Retinol is a vital ingredient used in skin care to combat wrinkles, discoloration, and fine lines. Let’s be real, our souls aren’t the only things that need refreshing sometimes.

Step 4: For all things good and holy, serums and oils tend to be one of them. Though Sunday Riley is on the higher end of the bargain, a little of the Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment goes a long way, so it’s definitely worth the investment. It exfoliates the skin and plumps lines while boosting radiance. Plus, it’s suitable for all skin types, yay!

Step 5: And last but not least, apply your favorite moisturizer/sunscreen. Aveeno is known for its active natural ingredients and with this 2-in-1 Positively Radiant moisturizer/sunscreen, you save yourself a few bucks and a few wrinkles. It’s lightweight and melts into the skin beautifully, leaving you with a smooth canvas for your makeup!
