A Note from our COO
In this Term 4 update for 2023, we’re delighted to share the incredible outcomes made possible by your ongoing support. Across 21 Safe Spaces, we engaged with 8,063 youth, while our SHINEGirl and STRENGTH courses connected with a combined total of 1,441 Participants. SHINEWomen empowered 120 individuals, and our community Playgroups provided social connection, support, and resilience to 4,246 children and families. The CityCare team accomplished outstanding results during our busiest term, while also outworking our Christmas campaign, and I am very proud of them! The highlight of this update is the resounding success of the Kilo of Christmas Campaign, which distributed 7,008 food hampers and 5,156 toy packs. Notably, Wrap & Pack events across Australia witnessed our largest turnout ever, and we extend a Heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in these events nationwide. The Christmas spirit was in full force! Your continued generosity remains the driving force behind the success of CityCare. Thank you for making a meaningful impact and being a crucial part of our achievements!
Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
