Global Senior Pastors Phil and Lucinda Dooley look with fresh vision for the future of Hillsong Church, announcing a mission-focused pathway as we step forward into a new era.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Acknowledging Hillsong Church\u2019s legacy and foundations, last Sunday, Pastor Phil said: \u201cWe are stepping into a new era\u2026 God is continually outworking new things; constantly moving us forward, challenging us to grow, develop and change as we serve Him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Linking with 127 locations, 193 services and 32 countries across the globe, the key scripture for the morning was Hebrews 12:1-3,<\/p>\n

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and\u00a0sin which clings so closely, and\u00a0let us run\u00a0with endurance the race that is\u00a0set before us,\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith,\u00a0who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising\u00a0the shame, and\u00a0is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or\u00a0fainthearted.<\/em><\/p>\n

After the recent upheavals of COVID-19 and leadership changes, in keeping with \u201cA Healthy Church, Changing Lives Through Christ\u201d, Phil outlined three strategic pillars that will support the outworking of the mission:<\/p>\n
