Saturday 26 February is the National Day of Prayer and Fasting in Australia. It is a day where right across Australia, believers take time to pray.
Mindful of the outbreak of war in Eastern Europe, this couldn’t be more timely as we consider the needs of those in our neighbourhoods and around the world, especially in Ukraine.
Can we encourage you to take time today to pray, take communion and perhaps join the national prayer zoom (details below).
Some prayer points to consider:
Pray for peace
Pray for those who are caught in conflict
Pray for those who are displaced; refugees and asylum seekers
Pray for those who are frightened and fearful
Pray for those who have lost hope
Pray for those who are vulnerable
Pray for frontline workers
Pray for revival of purity in heart and action in the church
Pray that millions of people will find Christ & experience God’s love
Pray for the strengthening of Church Leaders, Ministers and Pastors in Australia and across the world
Pray for wisdom for National Leaders
“I will pour out my Spirit on all people… And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.“ (Acts 2: 17,21)
