Check Your Connection – Part II

Have you ever plugged in a phone charger, lamp, etc…but not switched on the power? Or maybe did not have the cord connected correctly?

What you are connected (or not connected) will ultimately be shown. Seeds produce fruit. Power produces light. The source produces energy.

It is easy to connect with Christian frameworks, concepts, busyness, movement, “stuff” and miss the most important connection of all: JESUS.

Jesus said where He is, you will be also.

If you dwell, remain, and stay connected to Him, you will bear fruit, power, and anointing that lasts. True connection to Christ is of UTMOST importance if you wish to produce the fruit of the Kingdom. That is why Matthew writes in Matthew 6:33 (ESV) “But first seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

When you’re connected to Him, you don’t need to strive, work for, push, or earn God’s free-flowing grace. It simply becomes a byproduct of His love and mercy, and you can walk in the beautiful, unforced rhythms of grace.

“Here’s what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won’t be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace.” Matthew‬ 6:6‬ (MSG)‬‬‬‬‬‬
