WHAT IS EVENING COLLEGE?

Hillsong Evening College is committed to equipping you for a life of impact! We offer a wide range of short, life-changing courses that are designed for people who wish to increase their knowledge and understanding of the Bible. Taught by our own pastors and team, the courses do not just increase your biblical knowledge, but they instill faith, teach you to build a healthy life and expand your worldview.

Hillsong Evening College is ultimately designed to empower you to impact the world and to gain a greater understanding of theology, life, and leadership in your Christian journey.

BIBLE: BOOK OF EPHESIANS

The letter to the Ephesians is a wonderfully complex letter written to a diverse group of people in the Roman world of the first century. This course provides an opportunity to dive deeper and unpack the major themes of the letter by exploring its historical, social, and political contexts as well as literary styles to help students not only understand the contents of the letter but also apply it to our lives today.

Students who enroll in the subject will be equipped with the tools and resources to read and study not only Ephesians but all Pauline letters for their own personal growth and development!

LEADERSHIP: STRENGTHS BASED LIVING

LIFE: FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY

Through video teaching by Dave Ramsey, class discussions and interactive small group activities, this course presents biblical and practical steps on how to manage your money, get rid of debt, spend wisely, save and plan for the future, and unleash the power of generous giving!  

The course includes:

LIFE: PRE-MARRIAGE COURSE

The Pre-Marriage Course was developed in 1985 by Nicky and Sila Lee (authors of The Marriage Book) to help couples invest in their relationship for a lasting marriage. It is for couples who are engaged and for those exploring marriage. The sessions are completely private, with no group work.

Over five sessions, the course will help you to:
- Recognise the importance of commitment
- Understand and appreciate your differences
- Learn the art of communication
- Resolve conflict
- Spend time together
- Recognise the influence of your family background
- Develop a good sexual relationship
- Talk about your goals, values and dreams
