We take time out to pray and anoint every person in church with oil, as we believe there is power in prayer and the symbolism of the anointing with oil.\u00a0The oil represents the Holy Spirit,\u00a0as oil was used to anointed spiritual leaders in the Bible, and afterward the Holy Spirit came upon them (<em>1 Samuel<\/em>\u00a016:13). We will anoint and pray for healing, for the new year ahead, for spiritual breakthrough and for God to have His way in our lives!
