The Christmas song that rekindles joy or the first tune that plays in your head every time that fond memory is triggered; the joke that never gets old or the scene from your favourite comedy you love to re-enact; the famous catchphrase that has become everyday lingo or the book that you just had to read again [for the seventh time]; the theory that keeps recurring no matter how many different methods you study or the principle that forever holds in every business deal. These things are what we call TIMELESS.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
In history, new structures or systems took form only after completion of intense foundational work. It was a passion that initiated creativity that broke boundaries of what was \u201cpossible.\u201d The dedicated pursuit to solve problems or meet the essential needs of people is what built thriving societies and economies. These foundational works, these passions, this dedication to yield solutions are the rudiments that give birth to the Timeless.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Ephesians 1:4-5 says, \u201cEven before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.\u201d What an incredible privilege to know that Almighty God, because of His Love and passion for us, laid the foundations of creation and gave us His Son (the Solution).<\/div>\n

You see, the timeless things we love seem to arrive right on time. Why? Well, being timeless in nature means they never really disappeared in the first place. In fact for something to be timeless principles are established from the heart or purpose behind it, which then grants it its eternal attributes.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The key then is activating the principles. This could be as simple as having a wedding or daughter\u2019s birthday for Van Morrison\u2019s \u201cBrown Eyed Girl\u201d to play or as thorough as Mozart exercising a calling from the age of five to be able to recite and transcribe Allegri\u2019s \u201cMiserere\u201d by the age of fourteen after hearing it once. At the foundation of creation, God established principles, like the tithe (first and best), stewardship and love. These principles \u2013 when we grasp them \u2013 means that God can deliver on His promises right on time, even millennia after they were decreed. \u201cAt the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ\u2026\u201d \u2013 Ephesians 1:10. His heart behind it all makes sense. Made in His image to offer Him our first and best because He did that for us.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
So my encouragement to you is to seek timeless truths. Don\u2019t fall for the popular or whimsical titles like: \u201cHow to successfully navigate the Covid19 crisis\u201d. I\u2019ve got news for you – no one has ever even been through a Covid19 crisis let alone have the answer for it. These are titled to be eye-catching and most of the time is just a sales gimmick. Read timeless books and articles that the author wrote before he\/she ever knew a crisis was imminent. Make more time for timeless things. Embrace God\u2019s promises and discover sound principles that stand the test of time and position us for victory in any situation.<\/div>\n

\u201c…He chose us in advance, and He makes everything work out according to His plan.\u201d – <\/em>Ephesians 1:11.<\/div>\n
