Compassion is one of the world’s leading child development and child advocacy organisations. Compassion link children living in poverty with a sponsor and through sponsorship, the children are given access to education, health checks and vocational training. We support Compassion through the Child Sponsorship Programme and the Water Projects “Since The Water Came”.
Sponsor A Child
Through monthly donations, prayer and letter writing, sponsors invest in the lives of children living in extreme poverty. The children are able to attend church-based child development centres where they receive nutritious food, health check-ups, biblical teaching and additional life-skills.
Join us in changing the lives of thousands of children and their families in Uganda by sponsoring a child today!
"Sponsor a child, change a family. If we sponsor children, in the same area, we change a community. Change a community, we can impact a region. Impact enough regions, we change a nation"
Since The Water Came
Together with Compassion, we have been able to set up water points in some of the projects we are involved with. These water points are life-saving, significantly reducing waterborne diseases among children and the wider community.
Together with Compassion we have been able to provide safe water to over 6,000 Compassion children and 37,000 community members. Contributing today means we can reach more people with safe water.
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.
Hillsong Foundation UK
The Hillsong Foundation UK’s purpose is to enable and finance the Church’s mission. Our aim is to establish the Church in cities across the nation, offering a “Welcoming Home” for everyone to encounter God while actively embodying the teachings of Jesus, both locally and globally. We achieve this through our National Initiatives, Local Initiatives, and Social Impact Initiatives, collaborating with like-minded non-profit organisations in the UK and worldwide to bring awareness and aid to the vulnerable.
