«О» Sanga

Scott “SANGA” Samways is a Pastor at Hillsong Church, and has seen literally thousands of people come to Christ around the Globe. He is an incredible communicator that carries a powerful message. Sanga and his wife Klementina currently oversee the Hillsong Newcastle Campus, as well as being a part of the platform ministry across Hillsong Church in Preaching/Teaching. Sanga has been in ministry for 17 years at Hillsong, and 10 years as the Youth Pastor.

He also oversees Youth Alive NSW, an evangelistic ministry focused on reaching the Youth Generation with the message of Jesus Christ, running large scale events for young people. Sanga has a passion to see people fulfil their God given potential.

Sanga first started out in youth ministry leading Newcastle Christian Surfers for 2 years. He then went to Bible College at Hillsong Church for 2 years, during that time got involved in Wildlife the Senior High Youth Ministry of Hillsong. After Bible College Sanga worked as a Schools Christian Youth Worker (Chaplin) in Castle Hill High School for 2 and half years.

After this Sanga went full time as the Senior High Youth Pastor of Hillsong, with his wife Klementina. Sanga oversaw the three age groups of the Hills Youth Ministry; Junior High, Senior High and Young Adults.

Sanga’s focus is now Building the Church in Newcastle, Leadership Development, and the Youth Alive Ministry.
