Hillsong Worship’s New Album – “Let There Be Light” – Released Today
It is doubtful that Hillsong Worship’s 25th album could be timed more perfectly. As the world is arguably at its most tense and confused for generations, the core message of “Let there be light” is to shine light into darkness; to replace chaos with clarity.
Recorded live at this year’s Hillsong Conference in Sydney Australia, the album welcomes back Brooke Ligertwood and features worship leaders from Hillsong’s campuses across the world like Reuben Morgan, Joel Houston, Ben Fielding, Jad Gillies, Matt Crocker, Taya Smith, David Ware, Marty Sampson, Autumn Hardman and Nigel Hendroff.
A truly international collaboration that according to Ben Fielding “will translate across the Church globally”, it features anthems such as ‘What a Beautiful Name’, ‘Behold (Then sings my soul)’, ‘Grace to Grace’ and the title track ‘Let There Be Light’.
Hillsong’s Global Creative Pastor Cass Langton says, “each song is reflective of this core message – that we as a church must bear the light of the Gospel.”
“We hope that this new album brings light into many people’s lives, especially those who are in constant darkness.”
“We believe that individuals, worship teams and churches alike will be equipped, edified and mobilised by these declarations and prayer songs that speak to the days we are living in, proclaiming the immutable hope we have in Jesus Christ.”
Hillsong Worship is passionate about equipping and mobilising believers everywhere with Christ-centred songs of God-glorifying worship for the building of the Church, and an estimated 50 million people across the world sing their songs each week.
‘Let there be light’ is available in CD or Deluxe CD / DVD and also on DVD and Blu-ray. A worship kit, music trax, instrumental parts and music book is available for church worship teams.
The album is available for download from today.
