Sisterhood is diverse and united at the same time. No one has to fit into a mold. Sisterhood is for women of all ages, backgrounds and personalities, skin colors and temperaments, and is for the bold and grand as well as the reserved and modest.
It is really for everybody!
For 2023, Joanna has some words on her heart for us as Sisterhood that she would like to share in this letter.
Words are so powerful. The Bible tells us that the universe was created through the spoken word of God. We open our lives to God’s creative power when our declaration is in line with His. Take the Sisterhood Declaration, hang it in a place where you will see it regularly, or put it in your journal and proclaim God’s truth as a prayer over your daily life.
“Besser zusammen – mit Jo” is our weekly German audio podcast with Pastor Joanna Haverkamp. It’s a quick reminder during the week to blow away the dust of daily life and remind us that we are valuable, we are called, we are loved and empowered by God to lead. A fundamental belief of ours as Sisterhood is that we ourselves always want to be the change we wish to see. Yes! We can’t do everything, but we can do something to respond to the need in this world. Find out more about our 500 projects and how you can be a part of them.
Sisterhood Small Groups
Sisterhood small groups are for those who really want to meet with girlfriends on a regular basis. It's a great way to get to know other people and build authentic relationships at the heart of our church. We enjoy time together, delving into the Word of God and praying for each other. Expand Sisterhood United
It's no secret! When women come together to worship, hear the Word of God, and meet in community, it is very special and very powerful! This year there will be an Expand Sisterhood United. The info on what it will look like at your campus will follow. It will be beautiful, prepared with love and full of the Holy Spirit who will move our hearts and speak to us.
