Whether you are new to the faith or have been part of church your whole life, we are all on a journey of becoming more like Jesus.

 

Basics is for every person who wants to discover the basics of faith, following Jesus and the mission of the church. Whether you are new to Hillsong Church or have been coming for a while, this free course is for you!

GROW consists of three sessions and is held on Sundays after the service. Our Welcome Team will be happy to help you find the right room.

Prayer

The first step to being with Jesus is taking time to pray. Jesus showed us how to pray in the Gospels (Matthew 6:9-13 & Luke 11:2-4). If you've never prayed before, try starting with the Lord's Prayer every day!

We read the Bible together! There are videos for each book specifically designed to strengthen your understanding of and access to the Word of God. Each day you can share about the Bible passage of the day in the app.

Lived faith leads to questions. Questions are a sign that you are engaging with God, His Word and your faith!
Write them down and start discussing them with your pastors, leaders and friends.

Grow in your understanding of who you are in Christ.

Small Group

Church is family - we experience this through our small groups that meet fortnightly. They are an opportunity to find community, strengthen friendships and grow in faith.

When you get baptized you publicly acknowledge that you have made a personal decision to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life. With this you publicly confess that the old has passed and something new has begun (2 Corinthians 5:17).
